House Energy Aura
Feng Shui followers claim that if the previous owners of a house were plagued by misfortunes and illnesses, the new owners won’t find happiness there either. For example, if the previous owner suffered a failure and went bankrupt, the new owner is unlikely to succeed in business.
Everything that happens in a house generates waves, much like a stone thrown into water. Any recurring situations, moods, and specific atmospheres leave their mark on the walls, floors, ceilings, furniture, objects, plants, animals, and people in that space.
Any event accompanied by strong emotions or physical or emotional trauma leaves a strong imprint. You’ve likely experienced walking into a room where an argument has just occurred and feeling a heavy, tense atmosphere.
These energetic waves spread throughout the space and accumulate, “getting stuck,” in every corner and nook.
The house you move into needs to be thoroughly cleansed, not just physically but also energetically. Only after this cleansing can you improve its Feng Shui. Cleansing the space is a necessary condition for any Feng Shui expert to work effectively. Moreover, after such cleansing, you’ll be able to better sense the energy of the environment and understand what changes are needed.
You should start, of course, by removing physical dirt. Scrape off, peel away, and wash everything you can: old wallpaper, whitewash, and paint carry the energy imprint of the previous owners. If the floors are hardwood, it’s best to sand them down, but avoid varnishing them; wood is a living material and needs to breathe.
Next, conduct a wet cleaning, as water has great purifying power. What can’t be washed can be sprayed with water—spring water infused with spruce or pine needles, or rowan branches.
Water containing silver salts is also a good cleanser. For this, you can use a pharmacy’s silver nitrate stick (one stick per three liters of water). Negative energy can be driven away by water in which a silver coin, spoon, or any other pure silver object has been placed.
Small pieces of wood can also be used to adjust the energy of the home. In places with negative energy, place pieces of aspen, birch, fir, or oak—wood will absorb the negative vibes. Maple, bird cherry, rowan, hazelnut, and juniper can even convert negative energy into positive energy.
Poplar, linden, and pine can help stabilize the energy environment in the home, while larch, hornbeam, beech, and elm can attract negative energy.
Burning spruce needles, dried wormwood, or wild rosemary can also help cleanse the home’s energy, and in severe cases, burning amber can be used.
After cleansing the space, it’s good to light candles in the room for several days, preferably candles brought from a church.
Traditional Chinese bells can disperse stagnant energy in hard-to-reach places. Not only can they dispel negative energy, but they also harmonize the energy flowing into the home, which is why they are often found in Chinese homes.
Natural, unpolished crystals are suitable for space cleansing. First, they are washed in holy water or buried in sea salt or simply in the ground. Then, the crystal needs to be programmed for a specific action: hold it in your hand and firmly state what you want it to do, or bring it to your heart and allow your feelings to flow into it. Such a crystal will be a good protector of your home.
Incense sticks, such as those made from sandalwood, are often used for cleansing, but remember that incense only works when its scent is present in the air.
Energy of Objects
According to Feng Shui principles, all objects absorb the energy of what happens around them. The more we use certain objects, the more noticeable the energy they emit becomes.
Some objects can bring happiness by dispelling harmful influences, while others can bring misfortune by amplifying negative forces.
Our home is a space filled with energy, and the energy-information structure is shaped not only by the emotional atmosphere of its living inhabitants but also by inanimate objects, which also possess their own energy.
Works of art, such as paintings, sculptures, porcelain, or tapestries, can hold vast amounts of energy invested by their creators. This energy inevitably interacts with the energy of those around them.
It’s important to know that both living and non-living nature are engaged in a constant exchange of energy. Humans and their representations are always intermediaries in this process. One must know how to protect oneself and their energy even in seemingly harmless situations, like posing for a photo. Any work of art evokes specific emotions in a person, and every emotion is an energy component that, when combined with others, forms the overall energy of the house.
Remember how difficult it can be to buy something in a second-hand store. Many people refuse to wear old, second-hand clothes. We likely sense human energy that has permeated these old items. They carry the thoughts, feelings, and emotions of their previous owners, creating a unique energy field around them.
Modern life has put us in a position where we are often forced to buy used items because we simply can’t afford new ones. When buying such items, hold them under running water—this is the best way to remove someone else’s energy field from them. Afterward, the item should be thoroughly steamed.
Many of us have our favorite objects that bring good luck. These are family heirlooms, passed down through generations, which recharge us with positive Chi energy. Treasure them, never discard or sell them. Remember, these items are part of you and your home. Their disappearance would disrupt the energetic space of the home, which could lead to unpredictable consequences.
Protection for the Home
Humans have always sought to observe safety laws within their homes. Moving into a new house, people would always consecrate it—this was considered a guarantee of future prosperity. Moreover, various amulets and mystical symbols have long existed to protect the home and ward off evil entities.
Throughout history, humanity has called upon the power of mystical symbols.
The circle is one of the oldest and most powerful symbols. It represents eternity, completeness, unity, perfection, and great magic.
The triangle embodies the power of the pyramids. It symbolizes the connection with the forces of the body, mind, and spirit, as well as the unity of mother, father, and child; past, present, and future. It is a symbol of the Holy Trinity. The triangle has protective properties.
The square is a symbol of the four elements: air, water, fire, and earth. It represents stability and strength, as well as the four seasons. If the triangle symbolizes activity and dynamism, then the square stands for the material world, prosperity, abundance, and sufficiency.
The cross is the oldest talisman in the world. It symbolizes eternal life, resurrection, and divine protection against evil.
The pentagram symbolizes the human body. It is used to protect people and invoke the forces of good.
The symbol of infinity—a figure-eight lying on its side. This symbol, originating from the cosmos, has very strong energy.
Stars signify intellect, creativity, and success in various fields of activity.
The tree is often depicted as an inverted Christmas tree. It is a symbol of longevity.
The wavy line symbolizes water, the World Ocean, as well as the beginning of life, changeability, and adaptability. A vertically inverted wavy line represents perfection, the path to the top.
The spiral is a symbol of wisdom. Depicted in red, black, or white, it wards off entities from the shadow world.
To activate a particular symbol in the home, you can draw it on a piece of paper, wrap it in silk, and hide it under the bed or in a desk drawer. You can also hang the symbol’s image on the wall or acquire a sculpture or figurine in the form of the symbol.
To consecrate a metal symbol, you can pass it through fire or rinse it in pure charged water. A paper symbol can simply be held in the wind or smoked with incense. During the consecration of a symbol, you should loudly state your intention.
Even an ordinary doormat by the door serves as energetic protection for the house because it not only traps physical dirt from outside but also catches energetic influences.
